SPEIDEL - Jucie barrel, stainless steel, 110 l

In the Speidel juice barrel, you can store fruit juices for months and tap them daily without the juices fermenting or becoming bitter. Because of their health value, juices made from apples, pears, black and red currants, raspberries, elderberries and grapes are particularly popular. They can be stored separately or mixed. Water can also be added to make the juice more drinkable. If you want, you can also store already fermented must or wine in the juice barrel.

The container does not need to be full. This is because the oil floating lid adapts to the contents; it always floats on top of the juice. When juice is tapped, it automatically sinks to the bottom. A "sealing ring" made of the finest, medically pure oil keeps atmospheric oxygen out. This keeps the juice fresh for months. Even the ancient Romans poured oil as an "air seal" on their wine to preserve it.
