Our delicious Dutch Oven bread succeeds not only in the Dutch Oven on the grill or in the oven but of course also in the very classic and without Dutch Oven in the oven. What makes it special: the RubOur
perfectly created rub is in a small bag and is on top as soon as you open the can. The rub gives the grilled breads the special taste and is spread on the breads before they go into the oven or on the grill.

We use only ingredients that come from Austria. We make sure to use regional and sustainably grown products - of course only the flours from our Stöber mill.

The Dutch Oven Bread consists of the following ingredients

This is how easy it is to bake 1 kg of Dutch Oven Bread:
Remove rub (small spice ball) from sunflower seeds and crumble in a small bowl with your finger. Add 5 tbsp apple juice or beer, mix and set aside.
Place remaining baking mix in a bowl, add 380 ml water (see water line on bottle) and knead dough by hand, food processor or TMX for about 3 minutes.
Let the dough rest in the bowl for approx. 20-30 min. at room temperature (~ 24 °C).
Knead dough briefly and shape into bread. Cover and let rest again for approx. 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, preheat Dutch Oven in grill or oven to 250°C.
Mix rub to a creamy (spreadable) consistency. Tip: small pieces may be included!
Spread bread with the rub.
Place batter in preheated Dutch Oven pot and close lid.
Dutch Oven in the grill: Place Dutch Oven with closed lid directly on the grill, indirect heat, close lid and close ventilation slider. Bake for 20 minutes at 250 °C, then switch down to 180 °C and finish baking for approx. 20 minutes without lid.Dutch Oven in the oven: bake at 250 °C top and bottom heat for 20 minutes, then switch down to 180 °C and finish baking for approx. 20 minutes without lid.
Tip: at a core temperature of 95 °C the Dutch Oven Bread is ready!
