From sweet jams to sour pickles!

With the "Bäuerinnen-Einkochbuch" the success of the series, in which the best recipes of Austrian farm women were presented in the last years, is continued and made durable so to speak.
Stockpiling by means of preserving and pickling is one of the domains of agricultural enterprises. No miracle therefore that one became more than fündig in the kitchens of domestic farms and the selection from the sent in prescriptions accordingly heavy fell. The range of recipes starts with the great classics: strawberry, currant, cherry and apricot jam. Equipped with a good dash of creativity, the fruits are also used to make raspberry champagne jam, paprika jam, Christmas jam with plums and oranges or rowanberry jelly and apple jelly with cranberries and horseradish, as well as a wide variety of compotes.
